Our Eco Committee are highly committed to making our school a better place; they have encouraged us to remember to turn off lights, computers and other sources of electricity when not in use. They have reminded us to turn off the taps when we have finished and they have taught us about the importance of recycling lots of objects including paper, ink cartridges and kitchen waste.
The 'Eco Busters' spot check our classrooms each day to ensure we are being 'Eco- Tastic', The best class each week are awarded Eco Class of the week.
We are very proud of our achievements. We became a Green flag school in July 2006 and we were awarded 'The Best Eco School in Wales 2009.' We have recently reapplied for the renewal of our Green flag award, we will be assessed this July.
We stongly believe that we are so successful because of the support we recieve from the whole school and community. This is reflected in our Eco Code: 'On our own we save the earth: Working together we save the universe.'
